FOR BURMA
Why must the poorest suffer,
while those with abundance ignore You?

Why must the waves wash away
those who live in the darkest places?
.
Why do evil men rule cruelly,
as we are apathetic to freedom?
.
Why does video coverage
not make us drop our forks and shed tears?
.
We do not have an answer for ‘why’,
the question seems so futile right now.
.
God help us to care for them,
so our actions prove we are Christians.
